Taking On Too Much

When everything feels urgent, choosing nothing can look like staying flexible. In practice, the loudest demand gets the time while an important quiet task keeps waiting.

What to do instead

List your demands. Decide what must happen today and what can be delayed, reduced, or shared. If everything truly has to get done, ask for specific help or an adjustment. Pushing harder does not create more hours.

Using Support & Recovery

Help that remains vague is hard to request and hard to provide. Saying you need support may leave someone guessing whether you need a ride, a task covered, or ten minutes to think.

What to do instead

Ask for one concrete form of help from an available person. If help is not available, reduce or reschedule one discretionary demand where possible. Limited resources are a constraint, not proof that you failed at coping.
