Naming What Matters
A value word can sound impressive while offering no guidance when choices collide. Family, health, and responsibility can each support different decisions unless you explain what they mean in this situation.
What to do instead
Name one priority and what you will do about it this week. If two priorities conflict, be honest about the trade-off. You cannot give everything first place.
Turning Values Into Action
Meaning it is a start. Doing something about it is the next step. If being present matters to you, decide when you will put your phone away and give someone your attention.
What to do instead
Choose one action and when you will do it. If the plan gets interrupted, choose the next realistic opportunity. Learn from a missed attempt and adjust.
